These baseline terms describe the service and expected conduct. The operator must complete legal review and publish its legal identity and governing jurisdiction before public launch.
Adults only; participation is voluntary
You must be at least 18 years old and meet any higher minimum required where you live. You must confirm adult eligibility and accept these rules before joining. The confirmation is not a verified-age check.
Use the service only where it is lawful. You may leave at any time. Other participants have the same right; do not attempt to pursue or identify someone who ends a conversation.
Respectful, lawful behavior is required
Do not display nudity or sexual content, harass or threaten others, engage in hate-based abuse, impersonate someone, distribute scams or spam, solicit money, or share another person's private information. Content involving the exploitation of minors is prohibited.
Do not evade restrictions, automate mass connections, interfere with the service, or attempt to access another session's messages or signaling. Only use devices and media you are authorized to share.
Reports and restrictions
Participants can report a current conversation. With OpenTalk matching, Omegleweb submits the report to the shared OpenTalk service; reports contain a reason and session metadata, not a full transcript or recording. The OpenTalk service and its operators handle reports and any related restrictions.
Reports provide limited evidence and do not guarantee immediate review or a particular outcome. Use the relevant service operator's contact route for questions about a restriction without attempting to bypass it.
Availability, features, and privacy
Matching depends on participation and preferences. Media connections also depend on browsers and networks. The service does not promise uninterrupted access, particular matches, instant connection, or a safe outcome from every encounter.
Text and video are the available modes. Premium is coming soon; no subscription purchase or payment collection is active. Do not send money to a stranger claiming to sell an upgrade.
Read the privacy notice before joining. Do not share material that would put you at risk if another person saved it. The service is not an emergency, medical, or counseling provider.
